THRIVE with the Y is a new, 6-week, small-group wellness program designed to help you connect with your health, your goals and your YMCA community. 

Maybe you’re not sure where to start, feel unsure about the equipment, or haven’t found a routine that sticks. You’re not alone—and that’s exactly why THRIVE exists. It focuses on whole-person wellness, and building healthy habits in a way that fits your real life. Click the link to learn more!

100-Mile Aqua Challenge | AGES 12+

 

Last call to dive in! Registration closes Mar. 1 for the 2026 100-Mile Aqua Challenge! Push yourself to meet a long-term goal, find support from fellow swimmers and aqua joggers, and enjoy some friendly competition with fellow members in our Y app challenge!

Red Cross Lifeguard Trainings 🏊

 

Lifeguard Instructor training | CERTIFIED LIFEGUARDS AGES 17+

 

Certified lifeguards—ready to level up? We will be offering a small-group, multi-day American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor training in late February, for lifeguards who will be 17 years or older by Feb. 22. Only 6 spots available—sign up today!

 

Lifeguard Certification class | AGES 15+

 

We're holding a multi-day American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification training in late March, for people who will be 15 years or older by Mar. 22. This class provides entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. 10 spots available.

Spring Break Day Camps | GRADES K-5

 

There are still some spots available for grades 3 to 5 at our Spring Break Day Camps at the Eugene Family YMCA! Grades K to 2 are currently waitlist-only.

 

These one-day camps run from Monday, Mar. 23, through Friday, Mar. 27, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Soulful Stories | K-5TH GRADERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

 

In partnership with BLAQ Youth, Inc., Soulful Stories is a culturally responsive, literacy-focused quarterly event designed for children in grades K through 5 and their families! The session features a guest reader sharing The Heart Never Forgets by Ana Ot, followed by a themed activity. This FREE event promotes family engagement, early literacy and cultural pride.

Books will be provided to families who register for the event.

 

When: This Saturday, Feb. 7, 12 to 2 p.m.

Cost: Free!

 

Itty Bitty programs | AGES 3-5 PLUS A TRUSTED ADULT

 

Whether your 3- to 5-year-old is drawn to sports, science, cooking or all of the above, we've got you covered! Registration is OPEN for multi-week February and March sessions of Itty Bitty Basketball, Golf, STEM, Chefs and Ninjas!
