IMPORTANT FACILITY UPDATE

COMMUNITY

Getting to the Y this fall

Summer is over and the students are returning! This is always a busy time at your Y, and to help keep our parking lot calm, we're encouraging members to consider alternative transportation, including:

  • Carpooling with a friend or two!
  • Riding your bike or scooter—take advantage of our free, members-only covered bike shed!
  • Taking the bus! The Y is served by LTD's Route 28 and Route 81, and students and seniors ride for free with an LTD pass!

FACILITY

Thanks for your patience—we've been BUSY!

As most of you know, your Y shut down for 2 and a half days so that staff and volunteers could give the Don Stathos Campus and Tennis and Pickleball Center much needed deep cleaning, and make important facility upgrades and improvements. We appreciate everyone's understanding while we invested the time and energy to make our spaces safe, spiffy and sparkling. The next time you visit, we hope you see the difference!

Extended Gym and Track closure

The Gymnasium and Indoor Track will remain CLOSED until Monday, Sept. 8, to give their freshly refinished floors time to fully cure. Thank you for your patience!

Aquatics in-service

The Aquatics Center (Lap Pool, Small Pool, Spray Pad, Hot Tub and Sauna) will be closing early at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, for staff training.

Thank you, Hunter Communications, for your generous support of the Eugene Family YMCA!
