SHABBAT SHALOM

THE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER OF THE LEVITE JCC

Shabbat lighting: Friday @6:41 PM

Weekly Torah portion: Ha'azinu

Wishing everyone in our community goodness, hope, and peace

As we celebrate Rosh Hashanah | Jewish New Year, we're thankful for our resilience throughout the past year as a thriving center of Birmingham's Jewish culture.

We also remember the lives lost 25 years ago on September 11, and the lives that have been forever changed since then. May we carry their memory forward with compassion and a commitment to peace.

We greet the new year with a renewed sense of hope and peace while offering myriad opportunities to connect with our community as you nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

In observance of Rosh Hashanah, our facility will close Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13. Visit our website to learn more about Rosh Hashanah and see other upcoming holiday hours.
