Pool prep paves way for summer

We can’t think of a better way to welcome our community to another sunny summer at the Levite JCC than opening the outdoor pool. This Tuesday we opened the season for our 300,000-gallon body of water… or what we like to refer to as Birmingham’s best pool. Read about what it takes to get the pool ready for prime time...

In case we have no sun for Sunday's sundae pool party, know that our indoor plan will include a gaga pit, some fast-paced basketball fun, and cornhole — and of course we're still going to pump out lots of that delicious soft serve you've been craving...

DAIRY DELIGHTS — Wednesday's ice cream stand in celebration of the Shavuot holiday was a big hit with all ages. Vanilla edged out chocolate by just a bit, with Berry-politan coming in third, but the plethora of topping choices was worth serious thought. Look for more ice cream at Sunday's pool party...
