From Oz to Whoville: The legacy continues with Seussical Jr.

Excitement is building at the Levite JCC as young performers prepare to take the stage for this season’s whimsical production of Seussical Jr. The colorful musical, filled with imagination and heart, showcases not only the talent of its cast but also the steady growth of the LJCC Youth Theater program.

“With Seussical Jr. you can see the confidence our returning performers have gained," says Director Alie B. Gorrie. Read the full story and get tickets...

New InBody studio goes ‘beyond the scale’

Levite JCC members looking for clearer insight into their health have a quick, non-invasive option: the InBody body composition scan. While not a replacement for medical advice, the assessment provides a detailed snapshot of metrics like body fat, muscle mass and balance (arms, legs, trunk), and hydration — helping users better understand what’s really happening beyond the number on the scale. And before we go...

READY! SET! MAHJONG! — (L-R) Julie Bernstein, Faye Bernstein, Harriet Shulmister, and Kathy Goldman enjoy an intense game in the library. Mahjong, a Chinese game with deep Jewish roots, gained a lot of momentum here at The J last year so that we now offer multiple classes and open play opportunities. Learn more and sign up...
