'Jumpstart' challenge returns

The “Jumpstart at the J” challenge is a six-week program designed to help participants achieve their fitness and weight loss goals through advanced body composition tracking, personalized nutrition education, and recovery strategies.

The program is designed to offer support over six weeks while participants track their progress with InBody scans, gain valuable knowledge through specialized learning events, and receive expert guidance throughout the program.

The base cost for the challenge is $45. Get a jump on the deets and sign up...

Membership fee increase

Following up on a recent email to LJCC members, just a reminder that starting February 1, 2026, our membership dues will increase five percent across all categories — an adjustment that reflects the rising cost of doing business. Note that our need-based scholarship program can help offset membership dues, program fees, and Cohn ECLC enrollment.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN — Unified Sports League Birmingham is an inclusive program that brings neurodivergent and non-disabled individuals together as teammates in team sports. The program fosters friendship, mutual understanding, and a shared love for the game. The J is hosting all the organization's basketball games, which started in December and will continue on January 11 — come show your support! Learn more and see the photo album at Unified Sports.
