TRAVEL LOG — Sally Friedman (standing at right), former executive director of the Birmingham Jewish Foundation, and Richard Friedman (standing at left), former executive director of the Birmingham Jewish Federation and the Levite Jewish Community Center, spoke to some 60 guests at The J yesterday about their recent trip to Israel, during which they learned about the impact of October 7 with a focus on the Israeli experience.
