KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

In observance of the Easter holiday, the YMCA will be closed on Friday, April 3rd (Good Friday) & Sunday, April 5th (Easter Sunday). We will have normal operating hours on Saturday, April 4th.

 

HEALTHY KIDS DAY

Healthy Kids Day will include fun active play and educational activities to keep kids moving and learning, in order to maintain healthy habits and academic skills to achieve goals and reach their full potential! This event is FREE to the community! Y SERVE: CAMPUS CLEAN-UP DAY

Fri., April 10th | 8:00AM-3:00PM

Join us for Y Serve - Campus Clean-Up, a day dedicated to caring for our Y! Volunteers will work together on projects like cleaning, organizing, and refreshing spaces throughout the facility and grounds. It's a great opportunity to serve alongside others and help keep our YMCA strong, welcoming, and vibrant for the entire community. Lunch, snacks, & drinks will be provided.

For the April 22nd-26th or May 14th-17th Lifeguard Certification Courses at the Rose E. Schneider Family Y, participants will pay $100* upfront for the course. Upon passing the course, if they apply and work for the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA, WE WILL COVER THE REMAINING BALANCE ($225)!

Reach & Rise® is looking for positive, supportive adults 21+ to meet 1:1 with a youth weekly for 1-2 hours for one year at either the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA or the Butler YMCA. Think you don’t have what it takes to be a mentor? Think again. Check out the video, highlighting the experience of four of our current mentors.

Our Registered Dietician, Natalie Boyer, RD, LDN, will present: Diabetes Prevention and the effect of added sugars in the diet. We will discuss the link between added sugars, weight gain, insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. Added sugar sources will be identified, as well as evidence-based recommendations. Nutrition Facts labels will be reviewed along with practical strategies to reduce added sugar intake.

AWAKENED WOMEN CONNECTIONS GROUP

This Christian based small group is designed with all women in mind. Fitness is not just physical. It is mental and spiritual as well. Organized by women, for women who understand that healthy relationships with others help us in our own faith life journeys!

 

This group is meant for you to be a safe, supportive, “come as you are” space for women to support each other through faith, positivity, & relationship, or simply a place to enjoy a cup of coffee or protein shake after your workout.

 

While we will have a general topic to spark conversation at each meeting, this is meant to be a “meet-up with friends” in a casual and comfortable setting. ALL ARE WELCOME!

CRANBERRY PEOPLE WITH PARKINSONS (PWP) DISCUSSION GROUP

This discussion group includes two groups that meet concurrently, but separately. One for those who have a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease, and one for those whose lives are touched by someone who has a diagnosis of Parkinson's.

  • ARMCO Hall, Shelters, Dance Hall and Cabana Lounge reservations are now open to the public.

  • Entire Park reservations are always available two years in advance!

  • Facility Rentals are on a first-come, first-serve basis by completing a reservation online or calling 724-287-4733 x147.

  • Reservations will be processed in the order they are received, online and in-person concurrently. Due to the nature of first come, first serve, reservations completed online and in-person will take priority over phone calls, voicemails, and form submissions.

  • ARMCO Park's 2026 Season runs Sunday, May 3rd-Sunday, Nov. 1st.
 

To make a reservation online:

  • Log in to Daxko and update/confirm your information or create a Non-Member Account. (You can do that here). You'll need this to make your reservation.
  • Add/confirm current billing information on your account.
  • Browse available areas and dates ahead of time. (View the list of available dates here). Reservations are arranged by area, then sorted by date. Keep in mind, entire park reservations are available up to 2 years in advance, so if a date is not listed, it is already booked.
