Providing kids with a safe and comfortable space to achieve their goals.

This Spring, Reach & Rise® has hosted scavenger hunts, fishing trips, and trips to area businesses for the mentors and mentees. Mentors and Mentees have worked on healthy connections, emotional regulation, improving self-esteem, team building, and mental health hygiene.

Reach & Rise® is still taking applications for mentees in group and one-to-one. If you know a child who can benefit from this valuable program, click the "Mentee Referral" Button or reach out to us!

INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT: Rochelle Graham

How long have you been teaching at the Butler Y? 6 years!

What motivates you to teach?

"The members! I see people of all ages and abilities come into the Y to work on themselves for themselves. Seeing people push themselves in ways they didn't know they could and watching them build a community together in classes to support each other makes my social work heart happy!"

What are your favorite classes that you teach here?

"Strength class on Tuesday nights and the Saturday rotation of Strength and 20/20/20 are my go to classes right now! I have a special spot for cycle though. That is how I was first introduced to teaching group exercise classes at the Y. Cycle class is so adaptable. We as instructors are there to guide you. You can make it yours while still getting that class community vibe!"
