💚 You know how special this community is. As a Y member, you experience it firsthand: the warmth, the support, the sense of belonging that makes this place unlike anywhere else.

What you might not know: For many families, accessing this community requires help. Rachel Dawson’s story shows what’s possible when we come together to ensure everyone can be part of the Y. Donor support makes financial assistance possible, ensuring that the Y remains accessible for all.

Make a gift, make a difference, make an impact!

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Youth Protection at the Y, April focus

This month we emphasize that protecting youth is everyone’s responsibility. At the Y, staff are trained to recognize signs of abuse, listen carefully if a youth speaks up, and report concerns immediately. Families can help by keeping communication open. Ask caring questions like…

Did anything make you feel uncomfortable today?

Remind your youth that secrets about safety are never okay and that it’s always right to tell. Making these topics normal to discuss reduces fear and builds confidence 🧡

  • Apr. 13 to 27
  • Eugene Family YMCA's Youth Wing
