Happy Purim | Tuesday, March 3, 2026 |
Purim is a joyous, carnival-like Jewish holiday with costumes, parades, exchanging gifts with friends, giving charity, and enjoying a festive feast. People dress up, attend carnivals, perform humorous plays and exchange food baskets, often including triangular cookies called hamantaschen, to commemorate the Jews' salvation from ancient Persia.

| Your Safety Is Our Top Priority |
We are asking all members to provide us with their license plate information. Why are we doing this?
Building a license plate database for our campus will further bolster our campus-wide security. It will allow our security officers to quickly identify any suspicious vehicles on our property as well as improve efficiency when responding to parking lot accidents or vehicle thefts. Increased awareness may also help to deter opportunistic crimes.
All information gathered is confidential and will only be shared on a need-to-know basis in connection with an active investigation. This project is part of the Jewish Federation of Omaha’s Community Security Initiative. This initiative aims to analyze the physical security of the Omaha Jewish community and make improvements where necessary. Please direct any questions to James Donahue, Campus Safety and Security Manager, at (402) 334-6446 or jdonahue@jewishomaha.org.
Please submit your license plate info here: Campus Vehicle Registration Form
